Come enjoy seeing Don's photos featured in a one person Art Show at The North Star Cafe-225 Congress street in Portland. The cafe is a wonderful venue for art with many large walls and intimate spaces as well. The food and community and music are terrific compliments to the art. I will show many images simply framed of the countryside of Ireland as well as the lighthouses, Portland Head Light and The Nubble, Nubble Lighthouse, and barns and landscapes of Maine's stunning countryside. Image from nature often with the characteristic vapor and mist and mood of low light informs many of the photographs. I will also display unframed some brand new panoramics. These are exciting wide view of the rural landscape that are magical and captivating. In addition, i will be displaying some of my latest endeavers.... one of my images, likely the sunflowers, created as a mosaic of many thousands of my photographs. Hope to see you there!
